We are looking for a proactive Therapy Technician who has a positive "team player" attitude and meets the following requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Computer literate, experience with data-entry a plus
• Organization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience with patient care in a nursing home or hospital is preferred

• Prior experience with insurance authorization/verification is preferred

   

As a Therapy Technician you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Administrative duties such as filing, copying, verifying patient charges, patient scheduling, faxing, and insurance authorizations/verifications
• Provide general support and assistance to Therapists and Therapy Assistants
• Communicate in a clear, respectful, and caring manner with patients, their families, and caregivers
• Organize and prepare treatment areas for patients, which may include sanitation of treatment areas
• Provide informative, detailed information on the wide-array of wellness services offered
• Conduct fitness activity classes as needed
