Job Description:

Looking for the following breakout for the 5 reqs:

Qty 3 Mechanical Design System Engineers - we are looking for Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing) 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial designs required and AutoCAD, Solidworks experience required. Located in Nashville

Qty 2 Controls focused engineers (up to 75% travel) - we are looking for controls focused exp and they can be located remotely in the US

Will be part of the sort center team.

Will be responsible for designing material handling equipment within the sort center such as conveyor belts and other machinery.

Will be given specific requirements from the facility on what they need accomplished, will be responsible for designing the solution. Can be anything from adding capacity to the site, retrofitting areas for new equipment or helping to rearrange existing equipment within the facility.

Responsible for figuring out layouts of the site and do scope of work for the project.

Will be Writing RFPs, working with vendors for site selection and working on engineering design and hand off to execution.

Up to 50% travel is required for site visits

Project management skills are required, but is not looking for someone with only Project management background. Must have hands on design experience in a manufacturing setting as well.

Heavily weighted towards someone with a design background. Any kind of design (automotive, warehouse systems, manufacturing) would work.

Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing)

5-7 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial designs required.

AutoCAD, Solidworks experience required.
