Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Nashville, Tennessee

Description

Our client is looking for a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Sr. Accountant for a short-term contract in Nashville, Tennessee. This role will focus on supporting our team remotely (however, local candidates are needed for occasional office visits) in areas such as account reconciliation and process documentation. Key functions will involve working with large ERP systems and providing support to both our US and LATAM offices.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to support LATAM offices

• Execute bank reconciliations for both corporate and local levels

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations

• Oversee fixed assets reconciliations

• Manage royalty accounts payable, supported by month-end processing

• Document process steps for future reference and use

• Utilize large ERP systems, particularly S4 and Blackline (experience in both would be great!)

• Demonstrate critical thinking in executing tasks

• Use Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Carry out month-end close processes

• Utilize SAP and SAP HANA for various accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or related field.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations is mandatory.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel required.

• Experience in Month End Close procedures is a must.

• Knowledge of SAP and SAP HANA software is essential.

• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

• Experience in Fixed Assets management is necessary.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification is a plus.

• Must have strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.

• Must have the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

• Applicants must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential.
