Job Summary

CAI is hiring!  We are currently hiring a Domino Software Developer to join our team. This is a full-time position supporting a large, on-going State Government initiative.

Job Description

We are looking for a Domino Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain Lotus Notes/Domino applications according to project requirements and industry best practices. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain Lotus Notes/Domino applications according to project requirements and industry best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Domino applications with other enterprise systems.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing Domino applications.

  • Perform system administration tasks such as server maintenance, database replication, and security management.

  • Conduct code reviews and optimize application performance.

  • Lead migration projects from legacy Lotus Notes applications to newer platforms when required.

  • Document technical specifications, design patterns, and development processes.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Domino development and relevant technologies.

  • Work as part of a software development team to build and maintain enterprise applications

  • Understand client requirements and how they translate to new application features

  • Contribute to work estimating and software release planning

  • Perform Unit and Integration testing before implementation

  • Assist with Functional and Non-Functional testing

  • Troubleshoot and debug applications and implement solutions

  • Help to maintain and develop Technical Documents and guides to accurately represent applications

  • Research and resolve production issues and end user support requests

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing applications using Lotus Notes/Domino.

  • Proficiency in LotusScript, Formula Language, and XPages development.

  • Strong understanding of Domino server architecture and administration.

  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.

  • Experience with creating Java Agents for Domino applications.

  • Familiarity with database design principles and data migration strategies.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
