Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary

Role Description

The individual who fills this position will be responsible for the management of multiple Enterprise Mobile Management platforms in use at HCA corporate. This is a highly visible position at all levels of the company. The position will play a major role in leading HCA through strategic clinical transitions within our facilities. This position will also have direct influence on the continued mobile- enablement of knowledge workers across the enterprise.

Team description

This position will lead the team directly responsible for stewardship of the Enterprise Mobile Management environment(s) used by a wide range of business stakeholders at HCA. This team is responsible for initial certification as well as configuration throughout the device life-cycle using our standard enterprise MDM platform(s) and Telecom Expense Management platform. This team will also collaborate with other departments within the Information Technology Group departments to optimize all aspects of end user experience, performance, service availability, testing, and training.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree required

EXPERIENCE

1+ year(s) of experience in a leadership role required

5+ years of experience in an IT role, preferably within a large organization required

Major Responsibilities:

Enterprise Mobility Services

• Maintains a high performing team.

• Ensures employees perform efficiently and with proper ethics

• Tracks the status of department initiatives and takes corrective action through escalation or other means as needed.

• Sets annual department objectives / goals based on corporate focus

• Performs annual employee evaluations

• Defines the department budget and prioritizes funding during budget challenges

• Maintains spend plans for base projects and department budgets

• Develops and presents business cases (project budgets) for key initiatives that will be owned by the department

• Maintains contracts throughout the contract lifecycle (owned vendor relationships)

• Frequently meets with other department personnel and corporate department management

• Maintains a current knowledge of the issues facing both Information Systems and Healthcare industries

• Maintains 24x7 on-call rotation for all assigned teams.

• Occasionally provides counsel to company Sr. Executives

• Other duties and special assignments as assigned by VP, AVP, and Director
