Position Description
The HR Analyst Senior - Employee & Account Care (EAC) position supports leadership for the Information Technology Services (ITS) Department. Human Resources (HR) and administrative classification involves roles focused on managing an organization's workforce and ensuring smooth operational processes. HR professionals handle recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, training, and compliance with labor laws. Administrative roles support the organization's infrastructure through tasks like scheduling, office management, record-keeping, and communication. Together, these classifications aim to enhance organizational efficiency, foster a positive workplace culture, and support strategic goals.
ITS is a 24x7 information technology shop. Applicant must be willing and available to perform duties as required by the job. This may include work on nights, weekends and holidays.

Typical Duties
Leads on New Hire, Promotional, and On-boarding processes.
Attends, coordinates, and respond to HR’s job fairs and recruitment activities.
Works with HR and management on NEOGOV recruitments, system, and changes.
Prepares all necessary financial and position related worksheets, documents, and Tableau reports and advanced experience with Oracle R12 and subsets (including EEO and Demographic data).
Works with Metro Human Resources on all ITS Employee Relations activities including assisting manager follow Civil Service Rules & Policies.
Performs administrative, financial, review, communication, etc. activities necessary to support the mission of the department.
Performs necessary scheduling, communication and organization of department functions and associated activities.
Serves as ITS payroll administrator back-up as necessary.
Responsible for all cash-ACH deposits for department.
Balances positions and ITS Organizational Chart.
Assists in activities around employee events, employee appreciations, holidays and other special events.
Assists in business travel for ITS Management.
Back-up procurement processing activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of professional HR experience.

Note: Per Metro Ordinance No. SO94-1078. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.
Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Human Resources experience within local government or Technology field
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft applications, NeoGov, Oracle and Tableau
Certified Human Resources Professional or related certification through SHRM
Degree in Human Resources or Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field
