Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Imaging Systems will provide technical and managerial leadership in establishing goals and priorities for the Imaging Systems team. This role is responsible for overseeing the application and operating system lifecycles, advanced imaging system support, ancillary service line IT support including women's and children's services, and radiation dose management. Additionally, the Director will lead the system refresh program, which aims to replace end-of-life hardware in the Radiology and Cardiovascular service lines, including hemodynamics systems.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead a program and manage teams focused on application and operating system lifecycle, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

  • Regularly communicate enterprise imaging strategies, initiatives, and emergency response when needed. Serves as the primary contact point for relevant operational leaders.

  • Develop processes and procedures for advanced imaging system support, troubleshooting, and vendor collaboration guidelines to optimize incident management response.

  • Oversee ancillary service line IT support, including women's and children's services, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of imaging systems.

  • Build and maintain imaging systems inventories and ensure availability and accuracy of that data in the CMDB.

  • Direct the system refresh program, including the replacement of end-of-life hardware in the Radiology and Cardiovascular service lines, including hemodynamics systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, and customer service, to ensure the successful implementation and operation of imaging systems.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for imaging systems to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of imaging systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Assist in budget and strategic planning, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

  • Serve as a primary contact point for issues that surface in the imaging space, providing expert guidance and support.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role required

  • 7+ years of experience in advanced imaging or ancillary service line IT support preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Travel Required
