Major Responsibilities:

  • Quoting all inspection deficiencies within forty-eight (48) hours of the receipt of a completed inspection report.

  • Following up on deficiency proposals.

  • Maintain professional business relationships with the National Account sales organization, ADT branch management, and jurisdiction personnel (AHJ) including Fire Marshals

  • Developing a positive, ongoing relationship with customers to ensure that ADT is meeting requirements to ensure long-term customer loyalty.

  • Ability to complete NICET 1 certification within one year of hire.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed annual sales plan objectives.

  • Developing and maintaining an active proposal pipeline that supports the achievement of the assigned sales quota.

  • Ensuring that all customer and prospecting activity is entered and maintained in the sales CRM database.

  • Conducting building surveys to support proposal development.

  • Maintaining correct and complete records of all sales-related activities.

  • Submitting all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity, and correspondence in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Sell central station monitoring agreements to new and prospective clients.

  • Performing customer add-ons, and renewals.

  • Supporting the Service and Inspection Department to achieve customer excellence and generate leads for service, equipment, or system upgrades.

  • Performing other duties, as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS):

  • A minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • One (1) to three (3) years of sales experience in a related business with a proven record of success.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

  • Must have the ability to persuade and close sales.

  • Must have the ability to handle situations encountered during the sales process.

  • Must be disciplined to work with limited supervision.

  • Must clear background and drug screenings.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

  • Must have the ability to work a full-time schedule.

  • Must be available for travel, which may include nights and weekends, to accommodate customers’ schedules.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS):

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline and/or equivalent experience.

  • NICET Certification

  • Industry knowledge of various fire applications including Bosch, Potter, Honeywell, Edwards, Notifier, and Gamewell. sprinkler inspection applications.

Pay and Benefits Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $95,000 and is based on experience and qualifications. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.
