Job Summary and Qualifications

The Data Acquisition Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Data Acquisition team and our members. They will also regularly interact and collaborate with a variety of Product & Technology staff. The analyst will be responsible for establishing, validating and automating member and seller data feeds for analytical solutions that support business or customer use cases. This role will serve as a key contributor to ensure data stewardship and consistent analytical methods are applied throughout the organization.

What you will do in this role:

  • Contributes towards member and seller data feed implementations from discovery to automation.

  • Works closely with HealthTrust Data Solutions group to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data for various downstream data services and BI platforms.

  • Aids internal customers with secure data exchange with third party vendors and ad hoc data requests.

  • Participates in weekly update calls for all ongoing implementations

  • Validates member and seller data file iterations for completeness and quality

  • Monitors existing member and seller data feed extracts

  • Communicates with member and seller parties to remedy extract issues and gaps

  • Provides support to members and internal departments as the primary contact for the HealthTrust File Exchange

  • Provides guidance to members and sellers on how to build the extract queries

  • Maintains database of existing member and seller data feed extracts

  • Provides internal customers with ad hoc data requests for raw member and seller data

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required

  • 4-6 years’ work experience as a data, business, or financial analyst

  • Healthcare, supply chain or group purchasing experience a plus

  • Exposure and familiarity with analytic platforms and technology a plus

  • Must be able to work 2 days in-office and 3 days “work from home”
