Vanderbilt University Course Designer in Nashville, Tennessee

Position Summary:

The Course Designer, working within the department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations at the Peabody College of Education and Human Development, Vanderbilt University, is a leader responsible for Course Design of TLD-L Course 207- Proposal Writing with Lab. This position will create syllabus, facilitation guide and weekly PowerPoints for AUIB College of Education. Reporting directly to Dr. Xiu Cravens, the Course Designer will collaborate with Dr. Cravens as needed.

The Course Designer will create syllabus, facilitation guide and weekly PowerPoints for AUIB College of Education, TLD-L course.

This position is remote position

This position will require no travel.

Driving is not required.

About the Work Unit:

The Department of Leadership, Policy and Organizations increases understanding and guides improvements in human learning and outcomes, in the political, economic, organizational, social, legal and regulatory contexts in which human development occurs. Trained in the fields of sociology, economics, education, history, political science, public policy, psychology, organizational behavior, and more, faculty apply multidisciplinary and collaborative approaches to research, teaching and public service.   • Course Design of TLD-L Course 207- Proposal Writing with Lab

  • Create syllabus, facilitation guide and weekly PowerPoints for AUIB College of Education

    Supervisory Relationships:

    This position does not have supervisory responsibility and reports administratively and functionally to Dr. Xiu Cravens.

    Qualifications

  • Expertise in designing and teaching a grant writing course

  • Experience writing and managing grants

  • Master’s degree required

  • At least 10 years of experience in teaching about grants, writing successful grants and managing grants.
