Job Description

* Maintain and optimize data pipelines from production servers to Azure cloud data warehouse

* Design and implement data transformations in dbt to prepare raw data for analytics and business intelligence use

* Develop, rebuild, and optimize PowerBI dashboards, ensuring they meet business requirements

* Collaborate closely with the analytics team to integrate in-house ERP data and eventually third-party data sources into the data warehouse.

* Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop solutions that address these requirements

* Participate in the ongoing development and expansion of our analytics infrastructure, contributing to strategy and implementation

* Present information using data visualization techniques

* Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

* Collaborate with business and IT teams.

* Participates in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing those upgrades.

* Continuously gains an understanding of the customers' operations and how systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge to business users and IT analysts.

* Stays current on new analytics technologies and presents opportunities for improvement to business units and management.

* Determines functional requirements and recommends workable solutions to business operations, management, and IT staff.

* Works cross-functionally with other business analysts to provide fully integrated solutions.

* Assists other business analysts and programmers in the development and implementation of new processes and enhancements.

* Monitors financial operations and functionality and makes recommendations for fixes and improvements.

* Works closely with business teams to improve master data and daily operations.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

* 2+ years of experience working with SQL

* 1+ years of experience with Python (or equivalent learning experience or experience with similar language)

* 1+ years of experience with Azure analytics services (Azure Fabric preferred)

* Proficiency with dbt, PowerBI, JDE (or other ERP) backend structures, software development practices (e.g., unit testing, CI/CD, version control)

* Experience in Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors preferred

* Basic understanding of accounting/ finance principles

* Strong Communication Skills

* Demonstrated ability to lead and participate in data analytics projects

* Up to 10% travel null
