Description
Our client is looking for a short-term contract Accounting Manager in Nashville, Tennessee. The role will be integral to their ERP system implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate processing and recording of journal entries
• Financial reporting
• Performing functional testing for Management Reports – Financial Reporting
• Creating test cases using approved template
• Following up with the key testers on testing progress and dates
• Creating documentation to submit reports
• Assisting testers with questions and issues
• Analyze testing result data, summarizing percentage of completion, and report issues weekly to management
• Putting reports through check list
• Identify defect – work with IT to correct the defect and move on
Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting managerial role
• SAP system experience highly preferred or other large systems
• Tableau or similar analytics tool
• Excel with pivot tables and large data sets required
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Detail-oriented and able to work with high levels of accuracy
