Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $30 - $35 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Framing carpenters precisely measure, cut and assemble the framing lumber needed to build residential, commercial or industrial buildings.

• You could work on new construction, remodels or additions to existing structures.

• Measures, marks, and cuts lumber to build walls ETC

• May erect scaffolding or other temporary structures Reads and interprets blueprints or sketches to determine the layout of building frames

• Coordinates with other trades to ensure a high-quality final product

Qualifications:

• Current/Active n/a OSHA-10 Certification or a willingness to obtain it

• Prior experience as a Framing Carpenter or related field

• Strong math and measurement skills

• Ability to work efficiently and independently while meeting deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Valid driver's license

• Knowledge of commonly used tools and equipment in the construction industry

• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime when needed (e.g., evenings, weekends) to meet project deadlines and demands

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior experience in the commercial & residential field required

• Prior experience using hand tools required

• Position may require a drug screen
