Description

An established life sciences company that has been around for 30+ years has new ownership that is invested in the growth of the company.

They are looking for a Controller that has experience being in a leadership role overseeing all aspects of finance and accounting.

This is an onsite position reporting directly to & working closely with the CEO as well as leadership in the company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting and ensure accuracy

• Manage the budgeting process and implement budget controls

• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently

• Maintain financial statements and analyze them for business forecasting

• Utilize QuickBooks for financial operations and reporting

• Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported

• Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies

• Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations

• Report to the management with timely and accurate financial information

• Assist the accounting department in preparing financial reports for management that clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting

• 3-5+ years experience as a Controller

• Experience working for a life sciences or healthcare company preferred but not required
