About Us :

St. Joseph Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our well-respected and established collaborative practice in Nashua NH. With strong roots in the community, St. Joseph OB/GYN and Midwifery practice has continued to grow and thrive over the years to deliver exemplary women’s healthcare to generations of women across Southern NH. As a practice of five physicians and five midwives we work in collaboration to provide the best care for women in our community that match their expectations and needs.

Our unique model of care provides continuity that develops trusting relationships with the women we serve from the clinic through intrapartum care. Our full-scope midwifery group values the core fundamentals of midwifery care, practices evidence-based care and encourages shared decision making. Our midwives provide exemplary, dedicated services for patients from teens through postpartum care and beyond.

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our dynamic team at Saint Joseph Hospital. As a Certified Nurse Midwife, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journey. Your expertise and compassion will help ensure the best possible birthing experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments and provide personalized care plans.

  • Monitor and support expectant mothers during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

  • Assist with the delivery of babies and provide immediate newborn care.

  • Educate patients and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.

  • Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both mother and baby.

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients throughout their pregnancy journey.

    Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nurse Midwife.

  • Valid state nursing license.

  • Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team.
