Job Summary:

Reporting to the Quality Senior Manager, this position will be responsible for NPD(New Product Development) support and implementation of projects and Quality programs in Aprica including: QA, QC, Reliability, Compliance and safety in Japan.

Job Duties:

• Manage new product development program in Quality/Safety and Compliance in Japan.

• Comprehension and deployment of Safety Requirements in Japan.

• Manage Product Certification progress in Japan and deal with governmental authorities in needed.

• Implementation of Failure Analysis and Improvement

• Provide internal consultant and advice to colleagues in other functions.

• Cooperating with Supply Quality Team, supplier development is to be implemented

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or electrical) or related disciplines

• Basic business level English

• Minimum 3 years experiences in Manufacturing or Quality department

• Proficient in Microsoft

• Able to work in central research center in Nara

• Business travel

• Skill to demonstrate Newell values
