Robert Half has a brand new opening for a Network Security Analyst/Admin with a reputable client in Naples, FL. Looking for hands-on experience with Cisco products!

Position is full-time, on-site at their Naples, FL office. Must be commutable distance and available to be fully on-site.

Currently not a “mature” security environment, so from an opportunity perspective, the candidate could have a large impact on the direction of the environment maturing

The customer is in need of both technical help AND process/procedure help

They will likely cater the position based on the candidate strengths; ideally the candidate would have both technical and process/procedure experience

Under the direction of the Senior IT Director, this Security Analyst will help implement security standards and best practices that are integral to delivering core products. Will work closely with the infrastructure engineers, network team, support center, and the end users.

MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES, ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ACCOUNTABILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE ROLE:

• Works with the Network Engineer and IT Director to maintain standards, risk assessments, documentation, and procedures related to security for the information services, business continuity, and disaster recovery environments

• Monitors and reviews data logs and alerts generated from monitored security events, including data loss protection and data movement, escalate alerts through proper channels

• Serves as the front-line information security technical contact to address any issues or concerns/questions raised by users or support staff, escalating when appropriate

• Assists in communicating important security developments, escalations, and activities to appropriate personnel, crafting clear and concise messages and delivering them in a timely manner

• Conducts industry research on new and emerging security technologies to enhance and maintain high levels of performance

• Participates in technical audits to ensure compliance with security policies and other industry standards

• Performs root-cause analysis on information security related incidents; updates procedures or other controls to stop/mitigate future incidents as well as to determine and implement enhancements to improve security
