ALDI Recruitment Marketing Supervisor in Naperville, Illinois

In this role the Recruitment Marketing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day- to- day activities of the direct reports related to developing, delivering, and executing recruitment marketing recommendations to support ALDI in driving candidate application flow for open jobs. Ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner to provide the highest level of customer service for the business. This role will work closely with the recruitment selection teams and our external strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory / leadership experience, prior familiarity of recruiting and documentable recruitment marketing experience specifically in marketing jobs through primarily external channels and other promotional campaigns to drive candidate attraction.

This role is eligible to participate in ALDI’s Hybrid Work Program, which allows remote work up to 3 days per week (i.e., work remotely up to 3 days per week; work in-office at least 2 days per week).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures the training, development, and performance of their direct reports to retain a motivated, professional workforce.

• Consults with divisions on complex requests and provides guidance to team related to servicing requests.

• Establishes, communicates and evaluates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results.

• Identifies training and development opportunities that will assist their direct reports in achieving enhanced performance.

• Understands the overarching company strategy while communicating and modeling the core values of the organization to create a sense of teamwork and membership among employees.

• Recommends to their leader the incorporation of existing or anticipated transactional HR tasks into their team’s area of responsibility to improve service, efficiency and success as appropriate.

• Consults with the business to effectively design and streamline processes surrounding transactional escalations and related projects tasks handled/facilitated by their team.

• Provides input to their direct leader on hiring for positions reporting to them.

• Informs management of major team milestones, developments, and concerns.

• Provides guidance and oversight to projects and process changes in regards to the team initiatives.

• Provides guidance to the team on recruitment marketing concepts, shares knowledge of talent attraction platforms and strategies and how to best use them.

• Coordinates team activities to align with the needs of the business.

• Initiates new and innovative ideas related to talent attraction processes, marketing platforms and best practices.

• Monitors the efficiency and effectiveness of their team in addressing questions and requests, suggesting and implementing changes as needed to achieve the highest level of service.

• Seeks opportunities to expand or optimize the internal customer support that is delivered by their team to individuals throughout the business.

• Researches and stays current on best practices for processing and managing recruitment marketing and talent attraction practices.

• Develops and maintains constructive working relationships with recruitment marketing resources and vendors.

• Ensures completion of any recruitment marketing projects, presentations, reports, etc. as advised by their leader.

• Supports the management of external resources and vendors that pertain specifically to their team, as well as proposes the appointment of new ones when applicable.

• Works with staff and agencies to create strategy, mentors and supports staff with presenting strategies to divisions, and ensures accuracy of completed tasks and service level agreement accountability.

• Liaises with divisions to ensure satisfaction with team interactions.

• Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalating issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessary.

• Ensures direct reports complete assigned responsibilities in a timely and effective manner to provide the highest level of customer service for the business.

• Complies with ALDI privacy and security requirements and policies if job responsibilities include possible access to confidential and/or sensitive information.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field required.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in HR talent acquisition, HR recruitment marketing or a leadership role at ALDI required.

• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.

• Experience in developing, implementing and optimizing talent attraction strategies preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.

• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.

• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.

• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.

Travel:

• Minimal travel required as needed for job related duties such as training, project work and administrative tasks.
