Load and unload bee hives. Maintain bee colonies for top honey production. Feed, medicate and care for bee colonies. Place supers on hives. Split hives. Extract and package honey and other bee byproducts. Prepare bee colonies for winter. Clean and sanitize plant and equipment. Build and repair bee hives. General maintenance work and facility upkeep. Must be able to provide references to verify experience. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively. A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed.
