In this role, The Transfusion Sales Executive , based in Kenya i s responsible for driving sales efforts for Transfusion solutions and optimizing Abbott systems utilization to maximize Market share, profitability and improve customer satisfaction.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for sales quota including forecasting and target performance achievement within the region.

  • Drive profitable growth by initiating, developing and/or delivering unique transfusion solutions that result in improved outcomes and benefits for both the customer and Abbott

  • Develop sales planning for own area of responsibility.

  • Manage and drive the development of their accounts, including key activities such as: strategic account management, post-sales implementation process, pipeline management, opportunity management and territory management with minimal oversight.

  • Analyze sales, market and competitive data to develop sales strategy.

  • Analyze impact of market trends and factors on customers.

  • Support new product launches, evaluate market potential

  • Execute programs and campaigns for defined Transfusion customers.

  • Monitor, measure and report progress against defined execution goals.

  • Build sustainable customer relationships and leverage them to drive profitable new sales.

  • Optimize Abbott systems utilization to maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Support service team to maximize uptime by providing troubleshooting as appropriate.

  • Success in this role is measured by economic profitability, sales quota, contract renewal rate, win rate of new customers, and customer satisfaction score (NPS)

  • The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average three days per week

Education, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree in medical, life sciences or medical technology is preferred.

  • Good Diagnostics product and industry knowledge .

  • Candidates must be fluent in English; any additional languages are advantageous.

  • 3-5 Years of experience.
