Our client is looking for a Senior Control Technician - 2nd shift in the Nacogdoches,TX area. Key qualifications include 3-5 years of experience as a control technician or in a relevant field, and 1-3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and components is required. A high school diploma is also required for this role.

responsibilities:

Support senior technicians or engineers in installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, or systems by following established procedures and safety protocols. Perform inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to identify and address issues. Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical documentation, collaborating with senior staff when necessary. Operate and calibrate equipment according to specifications, ensuring measurement accuracy. Maintain detailed maintenance records using computerized systems. Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for production, experiments, or testing, adhering to safety guidelines. Participate in training to improve technical skills, and consistently follow safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
