Eaton Corporation Quality Manager in Nacogdoches, Texas

Eaton’s Power Systems Division is currently seeking a Quality Manager. This position is located at our Nacogdoches, TX facility. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:

The Quality Manager will support our new $100M facility investment in Nacogdoches, TX by managing a team to meet the testing and inspection needs for multiple product lines. They will also put in place a new QMS for a brand new product line coming into the plant. The Quality Manager will deploy the Eaton Quality System at the operational level and provide overall quality leadership throughout the organization. They'll provide support in total quality leadership to customers, suppliers, partners and the support service functions of the organization.

  • Lead the Internal ISO 9000 audit program for the organization and manage the corrective action system in conjunction with the management review process.

  • Coordinate support of production manufacturing with problem solving, process improvements and resolution to manufacturability issues.

  • Support coordination of customer return analysis and ensures timely response to customers.

  • Work with Design Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure that quality criteria are clearly identified on all newly established parts and communicated to suppliers.

  • Develop and lead routine risk assessment activity (PFEMA) on all new products and with changes that affect existing product.

  • Work in partnership with engineering to support all NPD Launch related projects and milestones related to testing processes and improve the overall process to achieve zero defects and launch readiness.

  • Execute or facilitate all aspects of APQP and Part Approval and sign-off for both suppliers and customers, manage revisions of process control documents such as PFMEAs, Control Plans and other quality tools to ensure compliance.

  • Analyze key quality metrics and manufacturing process metrics related to both the Eaton Balanced Scorecard and customer systems and perform periodic reviews to evaluate results and establish action plans to close the gaps at an operational level.

  • Provide Quality interface and expertise between the operation and its customers to proactively identify or anticipate their needs and expectations and ensure they are understood and satisfied.

  • Provide support to the Supplier Resource Management organization relative to the Supplier Quality Assurance activities of the operation as well as provide Quality interface, expertise and support to the organization’s suppliers and partners.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years of experience in quality, manufacturing and/or engineering

  • Two (2) years of experience leading people or project teams

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile radius of Nacogdoches, TX.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution

  • Six Sigma Blackbelt or Greenbelt certification

  • CQE or CQMOE certifications from ASQ

  • Experience either managing or supporting ISO 9001 or IATF16949 Quality Management systems
