Position Overview The General Industrial Market Manager is responsible for development and execution of strategic marketing plans to support the division business development plan. Provides direction and recommendations based on data relating to products, advertising, markets, pricing, strategic planning, and acquisitions. Provides broad responsibility and leader for marketing, sales strategies, customer service and new product engineering. Supervises marketing and engineering teams. Essential Functions Identifies technology, growth trends, and forecasts in target market segments. Identifies and develops new products and opportunities for existing products to meet targeted growth plans in conjunction with engineering and operations.

Coordinates development and implementation of product commercialization, including promotional programs, training programs for field and inside sales and distribution networks.

Communicates with customers and develops strategies and programs to satisfy their requirements.

Manages, trains, and develops team members and evaluates work performance. Applies performance management and leadership techniques to assure positive employee relations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required. MBA is preferred.

Seven to 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or technical field requiring frequent customer interaction. 3 to 5 years of the above experience in supervision of marketing and/or engineering personnel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and written/verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and team building skills.

Domestic and foreign travel as needed.
