System One is seeking to hire a Mechanical Journeyman in the Muskogee, OK area for a large Tulsa-based company. The successful candidate must have licensure, registration and/or certification - State of Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman License. This position is a direct hire role. Pay is BOE. Job Summary:

• Actively participates in the repair and maintenance of all HVAC equipment.

  Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Licensure, registration and/or certification - State of Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman License.

  Work Experience :

• 1 - 2 years related experience.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of HVAC/plumbing systems

• Able to install and repair all types of systems.

• Able to self-direct work.

  Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Performs repairs and maintenance of all HVAC equipment.

• Installs piping systems.

• Connects pipe or metal by means of welding, screwing or bolting.

• Selects correct welding methods and welding materials.

• Reads and understands blueprints.

• Estimates material requirements and costs associated with all types of piping systems.

• Works closely with other staff, instructing in assembling and installing piping.

  Decision Making:

• Independent judgment in making decisions involving non-routine problems under general supervision.
