Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

Perform radiologic procedures according to established protocol.

What you will need:

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

What you will do:

  • Greet patients and explain procedures. Answer questions and instruct patient during procedures.

  • Position patients for examination. Prepare contrast media. If authorized, administer contrast for Fistulagram, IVP, and venograms.

  • Perform radiologic examinations on patients.

  • Perform darkroom procedures. Maintain office procedures and film file functions. Maintain supplies.

  • Evaluate quality of product.

  • Assist physicians during specialized procedures.
