MHMMIConsultant FinancialK1252 (inactive), per HM updating to consultant job code 8/21

Develops system operation and capital budgets, per guidelines. Completes Management Reporting and maintenance of Financial Information Systems. Coordinates local and regional analysis, planning and reporting.

What the Financial Consultant will do:

  • Develops Capital budget in accordance with Mercy Health and Trinity Health guidelines. Includes Net Present Value (NPV) analysis as appropriate. Completes within the timelines of the budget calendar.

  • Prepares operating budget/rolling forecast for review, in accordance with MHP and Trinity guidelines and time frames.

  • Performs NPV analysis on new projects and proposed business plans as necessary.

  • Supports strategic planning and special projects as needed.

  • Takes lead role in financial development processes (Capital, Budget, etc).

What the Financial Consultant will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Three years of applicable experience. Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently, interdependently with multiple teams. Good project management skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects in relation to the organization's strategic and tactical focus. Ability to work with interruptions and changing work priorities, and under tight deadlines.
