Philips Global Operational Excellence Manager in Murrysville, Pennsylvania

Global Operational Excellence Manager - ISC S&RC (Integrated Supply Chain Sleep & Respiratory Care) will drive performance improvements activities and programs towards achieving substantial impact on business results, people’s development, and on delivering operational excellence to our customers.

This role is motivated by working with people in all levels of the organization, driving change, and has a strong passion in implementing a culture of continuous improvement.

Your role:

  • Using data to identify opportunities for productivity across the integrated supply chain.

  • Collaborating with leaders across the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) global team to support the implementation of key projects.

  • Leading the deployment of the Integrated Supply Chain strategic planning across all the sub-functions (Factories, Warehouse and Distribution, Engineering, Planning and others).

  • Facilitating and/or delivering training for global teams or specific departments about Daily Management, Problem Solving, and Hoshin Planning.

  • Facilitating process mapping / value stream mapping sessions to guide teams into designing a better future state for processes across areas such as manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, and planning, including an end-to-end view.

  • Helping to develop a culture of problem solving via training, coaching, and challenging decisions in the proper forums.

  • Partnering with our Integrated Warehouse and Distribution team to identify opportunities for substantial change and support the team throughout implementation.

  • Introducing efficient ways of working via exploring automated and digital solutions while collaborating with global data analytics and operational excellence teams at Philips.

  • Supporting the development of a global operational excellence (OpEx) network for ISC SRC, supporting and partnering with the OpEx team members across the globe.

  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of continuous improvement tools in different areas of the business while capacitating team members to lead.

  • Supporting execution of OpEx Assessment in the organization in determining Operational Excellence Maturity and developing action plans.

  • Partnering with data analysts to develop models with the goal to identify key areas of improvement and develop proposals including benefits, risks, and ROI to achieve leadership buy-in.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5 + years of experience in Manufacturing / Logistics / Supply Chain Management

  • Your skills include ability to deliver accurate, analytical, and process driven way of working; comfortable analyzing and interpreting large data sets, shaping analytical toolsets, and translating into business cases

  • You have a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management)

  • You have experience coaching team outside factories (support areas, planning, logistics, etc.) to develop problem solving skills

  • You have experience with data driven decisions and use of data analytics and modeling You’re an excellent communicator and have people skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including leadership team, project teams, vendors, and regulatory agencies

  • You are Green Belt Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Advanced certified. Black Belt is preferred.

  • PMP certification is highly preferred

  • You have proven experience focusing on productivity savings identification, planning and execution, and End2End view of value chain efficiency and effectiveness (Experience in the medical devices industry preferred)

  • You have in-depth experience in the Health Systems industry, order fulfillment and supply chain operations (e.g., distribution, fulfillment, demand planning, inventory management)

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
