Job Description

An employer is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design development of an electric vehicle (EV) factory. Responsibilities include managing domestic/international cross functional teams, analyzing material flow details, and coordinating electrical system design. Designing within AutoCAD 2D - will be given the overall concept/site plan with machines and then will complete the design. Will be responsible for the coordination of designing electrical systems, reviewing specifications, and ensuring compliance with standards and codes. Will work with internal engineering/construction teams as well as external architects, general contractors, subcontractors, etc. This is a highly collaborative role and this individual must perform at a high level autonomously. Will need to be adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects at a time.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

2-5 years of project engineering experience, working with cross functional teams

2+ years of Industrial Manufacturing experience (experience with facility design not just equipment)

Experience with building facility design and understanding of applicable codes for design such as NFPA, IBC, IEC

AutoCAD 2D, Revit, or 3D modeling proficiency for project design

Strong soft skills - problem solving, communication and collaboration between teams, team player, positive attitude

Ability to work autonomously null
