What part will you play?

The Siemens Technology Accelerator (STA) is a dynamic team providing business building services to Siemens entities. We specialize in commercializing non-core technologies through the creation of start-ups or the sale and licensing of technology. By bringing innovative ventures to market, we drive forward-thinking initiatives beyond the core businesses of Siemens. Currently, we are seeking a motivated working student to join our team in the capacity of Web3 Business Incubation.

  • You will play a pivotal role in exploring the potential of Web3 and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery within industrial organizations. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to real-world applications

  • You will collaborate with our experienced Venture Director and experts inside and outside of Siemens to evaluate the business viability of Web3 application concepts and support business incubation projects

  • By keeping abreast of the latest developments in Web3 and conducting user interviews, in-depth technology, market and competitor analysis, you will explore and identify new Web3 use cases to optimize processes or introduce new services for industrial organizations

  • As a working student, you will take on the role of a Community Manager for our internal Web3 community, facilitating the exchange and generation of new ideas in the spirit of Open Innovation

  • As Community Manager you will be responsible for implementing our open innovation strategy and filling our community content pipeline. This includes writing newsletters, organizing and moderating Web3 webinars, hosting pitch events and engaging with the community in Web3 living labs

  • Working with lead users at Siemens and beyond, you will develop new collaborative formats to streamline innovation efforts, help identify new business cases and grow our Web3 community

What Do You Need to Make an Impact?

  • You are currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, TUM-BWL, Business Management, or a related field, with above-average intermediate examinations (roughly to bachelor level)

  • You have gained prior experience in startup development or blockchain technologies and applications

  • You are a creative person and have a background in public speaking, event management or content creation

  • You are proficient in both written and oral English and German

  • You are available for a minimum of 6 months, committing to 20 hours per week with a blend of remote and office work on site in Munich
