What do you contribute?

  • You document the individual enquiries to Third Level Support and escalate them to Development, Quality or Product Management as required.

  • You are responsible for analysing sometimes complex customer problems in the area of vehicle technology. You will record the problem description, analyse the possible causes in software and hardware and define the analysis steps in collaboration with your interface partners.

  • You coordinate the relevant stakeholders (engineering, service technicians, project management and customers) and act as the contact person for the Commissioning/Warranty department.

  • You recognise trends in product quality, develop solution strategies and drive their implementation independently in cooperation with the interface partners.

  • In addition, you will support the regional support organisations (Level 2 hotlines in the countries) by training and developing colleagues and sharing your knowledge.

  • If necessary, you will not only provide your support remotely, but also travel to our customers and colleagues on site, for example for customer meetings, ad-hoc on-site assignments or to solve technical problems - but no more than 50% of the time, both nationally and internationally.

  • You work within a heterogeneous department and develop new solutions and processes with colleagues inside and outside the department that are adapted to customer needs and the competition.

What do you bring along?

  • Ideally you have a degree in electrical engineering, information technology or automotive engineering. Do you already have several years of professional experience and further qualifications in this field, but no degree? Then we also look forward to receiving your application.

  • Ideally you have professional experience as a service technician or system engineer in the field of rail vehicle technology.

  • You have initial knowledge of specific vehicle technology (e.g. SIBAS control technology, train control systems).

  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Flow, Excel, Word, Form).

  • You like to work out your own ways to find solutions and are open to personal development within the organization.

  • You have a good command of written and spoken English and enjoy working in an intercultural environment.

You will receive an attractive compensation package including the benefits of the collective bargaining agreement (e.g. additional pay and vacation pay) and other extras (e.g. corporate pension and shareholder program).
