What do you contribute?

Are you interested in a technically challenging and promising job with which you can make a significant contribution to the expansion of the rail share of freight and passenger transport? Then join us and join our engineering team to develop Siemens Mobility's globally successful rail vehicles.

  • You will be responsible for developing complex functions (e.g. ETCS) in our locomotives and thus actively shaping the market success of our product platforms with a focus on Europe.

  • Together with our suppliers, they develop complex solutions both for the new and further development of our locomotives manufactured at the Munich site and for the conversion of our successfully operating vehicle fleets.

  • Within our engineering department, you will coordinate the development of the driver's cab display (HMI) of our locomotives both with internal interface partners (f/m/d) in engineering, across trades in the project organizations and also with external partners.

  • In doing so, you will independently analyze the requirements, create concepts and thus ensure that the requirements are implemented in the software.

  • You will structure the requirements and the respective task in work packages and take care of planning and ensuring processing with your colleagues (f/m/d).

  • You will always focus on the reusability of your work results in terms of a product and platform strategy.

  • You will accompany our HMI solutions with regard to verification based on the associated approval and integration regulations.

What do you bring along?

  • You have completed a technical degree.

  • In addition, you have several years of experience in the visualization and/or integration of complex systems, which you bring with you from your work in the development or operation of rail vehicles.

  • You also have professional experience in project coordination/management in a technical environment in rail vehicle technology.

  • They are familiar with the functional spectrum of rail transport, are at best familiar with the associated licensing and integration regulations from their professional practice and have already gone through the engineering process to be geared towards this with a high degree of personal responsibility.

  • You are experienced, open and competent in dealing with various interfaces in engineering and with our interface partners. Your business appearance towards suppliers, customers and authorities is practiced, you enjoy dealing with business partners and achieve your goal professionally with them.

  • You enjoy an interface function with a high need for communication and coordination and at the same time have a strong willingness to design technical solutions to meet changing market requirements.

  • You communicate fluently in English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
