The Manager Seed Applied Technology (SAT) for Germany, Austria, Switzerland leads the portfolio and related local portfolio team (LPCT) for the SAT product category combined with Key Account management responsibilities.
Work relations:
The SAT Manager reports to the Head of Marketing Crop Protection, DACH.
Working relations to:
Marketing, Sales and Customer Service departments
Regional and global portfolio teams
Digital Manager
R&D and Regulatory
External: Seed companies, key advisors and institutes for SAT, key business partners and customers
Major Tasks of the position:
Manages the implementation of the SAT product strategy with impact on sales to reach market-share targets
Leads the assigned Portfolio Team (LPCT) for SAT
Responsible for the marketing mix for the SAT portfolio
Responsible for managing B2B and key accounts for SAT
Conducts price / volume / profit analysis in the country for projects and existing products and develops the optimum pricing
Monitors and analyses competitor products and positioning as well as market needs and developments
Identifies new business opportunities based upon unmet needs of current and new local markets and develop high-level implementation plans, outline resource needs
Acts as national Centre of Excellence for the SAT category - internally as well as externally with experts and stakeholders (incl. customers)

Qualifications
Skills, Work Experience, Qualifications & Competencies
Degree in Agricultural Sciences with more than five years of business experience working in the crop protection industry in Germany
Excellent knowledge of the German crop protection and seed treatment market
Profound expertise in product marketing
Strong strategic, innovative and customer mindset as well as ability to envision future market trends and opportunities
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Fluent in German and English
