Hello, NOW HIRING, Direct-Hire opportunity. Maintenance Mechanic A meat packaging company is in search of a Maintenance Mechanic on thier PM shift, for their Mundelein facility. To: Diagnose, repair/fix, replace parts on machines such as: Mixers, Batchers, Conveyor systems, Packaging equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.

• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.

• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.

• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.

• Identifies the cause of unexpected breakdown of the machine.

• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.

• GMP / Cold - Food environment

• 6pm-6am, rotating shift

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
