Oracle Telesales Business Development Director in MUMBAI, India

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead and develop a team of Channel Business Development Representatives (C-BDRs). This is an ideal role for a candidate with a successful background in selling software, hardware, or business services who is looking to make a significant impact in the professional development of new sales representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership : Recruit, onboard, manage, and mentor a team of BDRs, focusing on strategic prospecting, advanced lead qualification, objection handling, and first-call meeting scheduling.

Sales Development : Nurture and develop NetSuite’s next generation of successful business development professionals, coaching them on sales processes, executive soft skills, and NetSuite product knowledge.

Outreach Strategy : Develop a highly scalable yet personal outbound outreach strategy and identify areas for process improvement, efficiency, and productivity.

Performance Tracking : Monitor individual and team metrics, driving the team towards collective lead generation quotas/goals.

Operations Management : Run day-to-day team operations, conduct weekly one-on-ones, and team meetings, and develop creative incentive plans to keep C-BDRs engaged and motivated.

Reporting : Manage reporting to regional and in-country leadership teams and monitor lead conversion when qualified leads are passed to internal sales or partners.

Collaboration : Engage closely with sales leadership, marketing and partners to identify markets and drive quality leads. Coordinate with the Marketing team on campaign follow-up and reporting, and work with C-BDRs to ensure lead quality and proper follow-up.

Program Development : Develop and manage programs meant to enable our Focused Partners to build up their in-house BD practice.

About You:

Experience : 8+ years of sales experience with a successful track record and at least 3-5 years of people management experience. Channel sales experience especially in India and ASEAN, is a plus.

Skills : Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation), interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.

Attributes : Intelligent, motivated, competitive, with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” mindset; known for a tremendous work ethic, laser focus, and dedication.

Passion : Passionate about mentoring emerging sales talent and providing constructive feedback.
