ABOUT PARAMETRIC Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. A leader in custom solutions for more than 30 years, we help investors access efficient market exposures, solve implementation challenges, and design multi-asset portfolios that respond to their evolving needs. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM The Platform Solution Management team at Parametric is responsible for defining and enabling cross-platform business solutions that meet the needs of clients over time. Solutions are products, services or systems that provide value to the client, whether internal or external to the PPA enterprise. Sitting at the intersection of business, client and technology, we collaborate with multiple teams to understand solution context and define the solution vision, roadmap and capability set.

ABOUT THE ROLE The Technical Writer will partner with teams like product management and business analysts to create and maintain high quality content that will be used for product releases,

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Establish a strong understanding of Parametric's technical products and services. - Translate that strong understanding of Parametric products and/or services to create documentation and training materials - Document the technical functionality of technical products/services being built and those that are updated and re-released - Create technical product/service materials that are published in both internal newsletters and may be shared externally - Design technical product/service fact sheets, leveraging data that is available - Serve as a liaison between marketing and sales/pre-sales to provide technical product/service information when needed, and to ensure that documentation meets needs of both technical and non-technical users - Develop technical training that can be used and understood by a variety of different audiences including internal users in technical and non-technical functions, and external parties such as clients. - Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand and document API functionalities and use cases - Create clear, concise and comprehensive API documentation including reference guides, tutorials and sample code - Create training materials for end users in various formats such as PDFs, presentations and videos - Create videos for explaining functionalities being introduced on the platform as introductory samples

JOB QUALIFICATIONS SKILL SET Required Experience: 5 years Skill set: Strong written communication/written content creation, technical product/service training

PRIMARY SKILLS - Very fluent in verbal and written communication in English - Project management/ability to manage work to deliver documentation on time - Experience independently defining and driving technical documentation projects - Strong written communication skills; experience writing, proofreading, and editing - Explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences - Experience working with Git, Confluence, LucidChart, Canva - Decent knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS - Experience with audio/video editors and knowledge of creating high quality videos

Good to Have Skills - An understanding of financial services domain, asset management in particular
