Oracle Principal Systems Analyst - Support in MUMBAI, India

Job Description

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver support and solutions to the Oracle EBS customers on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This involves resolving technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting our EBS Support Services

This position is for Apps DBAs with PL/SQL knowledge.

Candidate must have worked on Oracle EBS 12.2.x with experience of 8 to 12 years.Candidate must possess the following mandatory and preferably, the desired skills.

Database Mandatory skills

Troubleshooting performance tuning using AWR, ASH, ADDM, OEM SQL AnalyzerBackup Recovery Using different tools and strategyData Guard Configuration and troubleshootingDatabase Patching PSU & standaloneKnowledge of RAC and troubleshooting

Desired skills Troubleshooting and conceptual knowledge of 12c CDB/PDB, 19c DesiredOEM Installation and implementation DesiredExadata Working Knowledge

EBS Mandatory skills

Installation of EBS 12.1.3, 12.2.x onwardsCloning/Migration 12.1.3, 12.2.x cloning with a different approach, cross-platform migrationPerformance Tuning of Concurrent manager, forms, reports, long-running queriesPatching using adop and patchingMultinode architecture Configuration of multinode architectureWorkflow Configuration and troubleshooting

PL/SQL & Customization

Expertise in SQL / PLSQL Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Functions, Complex Queries using joins from multiple tables

Good Knowledge in reporting technologies XML Reporting, XML Data Template, XML Publisher Parameters, Oracle AS Reporting, RTF Data Template, BIP Reports etc

Good experience in Forms & Reports developments Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Customization & Validations

Desired Skills

Configuration of PCP, Concurrent Manager, load balancer, external node configuration, DMZWebLogic Troubleshooting and cluster configurationFramework TroubleshootingOthers Shell scripts/Linux/Unix shell scripts, cronjobs and SQL scriptsIt is an advantage if candidate has the hands-on for the following desired skillsOracle cloud ArchitectureOracle ExaCC/ExaCS Patching and maintenance of grid infrastructure and databaseWork with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's global infrastructure.This position is for Oracle E-Business suite DBA Specialists who will be involved in the database and EBS Suite.Candidate must have used Oracle EBS 12.1, 12.2 plus with experience of 8 to 12 years.Candidate must possess the following mandatory and preferably, the desired skills.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible to provide support for the EBS customer base. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.

This position is for Oracle E-Business suite DBA Specialists who will be involved in the database and EBS Suite with PL/SQL knowledge.

Candidate must have used Oracle EBS 12.2 experience of 8 to 12 years.

Qualifications displayed in the job posting

Job duties are varied and role based. Ability to work with customers on an independent basis with exceptional communication skills, while consistently achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience is preferred with 8 to 12 years related experience. Experience with Oracle's core products, applications, PL/SQL and tools is important.
