Citigroup Ops Sup Supervisor - C10 in Mumbai, India

The Ops Sup Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert for daily operations processes and perform monitoring of transactions. Use the results to address issues and improve quality of work.

  • Research and interpret information, identify inconsistencies and make recommendations based on experience and specialty knowledge.

  • Assist with performing feasibility analysis for process changes and coordinate with business teams to develop system/process improvements and solutions.

  • Monitor project volumes and timelines and ensure adherence to established guidelines and SLA.

  • Mentor lower-level analyst and provide informal guidance and training to new team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

  • General knowledge of consumer banking operations in NAM region

  • Comprehensive knowledge of credit cards servicing/collections within NAM region

  • General knowledge of US collections regulations like FDCPA, TCPA would be an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of analytics preferred.

  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
