Our Global Supply Chain team plays a central part in ensuring our products are delivered to patients with cardiovascular disease and critical care needs. You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.

How you will make an impact:

• Manage warehouse workflow and daily activities, proper storage, inventory accuracy, reports on product consumption cycle and action to reduce slow active inventory or obsolescence. Establish processes and controls for assigned inventories.

• Develop robust processes and continuous improvement for freight forwarder and/or 3rd party warehousing/logistics. Perform complex detailed analysis to improve supply chain operations and make recommendations to improve processes.

• Responsible for handling the daily or monthly purchasing and warehousing operation to ensure that customer delivery schedules are met so as to provide customer satisfaction. Prepare Manage budget and operate within approved budget.

• Provide training and coaching to other team members.

• Provide guidance and/or lead discussions with management and other stakeholders on key initiatives and improvement. Collaborate with cross function team on projects.

• Fulfill complex orders to the satisfaction of the customers, and arrange for prompt deliveries – ensure that all operations of the 3PL partner are done as per Edwards SOP, raise any IT tickets if any of the systems are not working properly to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled by the warehouse on time.

• Responsible for the accuracy of all systems transactions and contracts. Ensure all documentations and processes compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. Participate in internal/external audits for 3PL Partner (DHL) by Edwards QA Team, ISO certifications availability for 3PL Partner, Logistics Partner etc. Drug License Availability (including escalation of any issues if any) for 3PL Partner.

What you'll need (Required):

Bachelor's Degree in in Material/Engineering/Business or equivalent Demonstrated track record in people management Required

Proven successful experience working in warehousing and logistics related fields, preferably the pharmaceutical/medical device/chemical industry in a manufacturing environment Required

• Expert understanding of manufacturing methods, procedures and cost reduction techniques

• Expert understanding of supply chain procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines

• Expert understanding of related aspects of supply chain processes and/or systems

• Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to supply chain

• Ability to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of supply chain to the business

• Proven successful project management leadership skills

• Proven ability to foster good working relationships between internal/external teams and suppliers

• Proven background in scaling warehousing, logistics and relevant experiences in managing 3rd party warehousing/logistics.

• Extensive understanding of manufacturing operation, procurement and planning.

• Experience with having P&L responsibility, budget management, and ability to create and maintain various management reports.

• Strong initiative and demonstrated ability to interface effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization and work cross-culturally.

• Strong conflict management and decision making skills.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Ability to operate, lead and thrive in a team environment.

• Able to manage resources and delegate appropriately. Operate with a lean organization.

• Knowledge in Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) , JD Edwards (JDE) knowledge preferred

• Knowledge in EHS and authority requirement on Hazardous chemical storage / disposable / transportation.

• Knowledge in trade compliance and most countries customs regulatory requirement preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
