As a Data SME in ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana), you will be responsible for designing and implementing the data architecture and infrastructure for data analytics, log management, and visualization solutions using the ELK stack. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, system administrators, and stakeholders, to define data requirements, design data models, and ensure efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval. Your expertise in ELK and data architecture will be instrumental in building scalable and performant data solutions.

In this role, you'll be engineering the backbone of our data infrastructure, ensuring the availability of pristine, refined data sets. With a well-defined methodology, critical thinking, and a rich blend of domain expertise, consulting finesse, and software engineering prowess, you'll be the mastermind of data transformation.

Required Skills and Experience

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

• 10+ years overall IT Industry Experience.

• 5+ experience as a Data SME with expertise in ELK stack implementation.

• In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana, including their architecture, features, and best practices.

• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modelling, and data integration patterns.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing efficient data ingestion pipelines using Logstash or similar tools.

• Experience in designing and optimizing Elasticsearch indices, mappings, and search queries for performance and relevancy.

• Expertise in data visualization and reporting using Kibana, including the creation of interactive dashboards and visualizations.

• Familiarity with data security and compliance requirements, including encryption, access controls, and data masking.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design scalable and performant data solutions.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Creation of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solutions Elastic ML, SSAS, Watson Analytics, SPSS is a plus.

• Understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

• Certification in Elastic, Azure, AWS, GCP is a plus

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
