OVERVIEW
The Quality and Risk Management (QRM), AD / Director is an experienced valuation professional who plays a key role in the implementation and delivery of QRM in Asia, Middle East & Africa across the Valuation & Advisory (VAS) services business. The role is key to ensuring our VAS teams provide our clients with the high quality of service they expect, and ensuring we are managing both our clients and CBRE’s risk, key to maintaining a sustainable VAS business.
This role, reporting directly to the Asia MEA QRM Head, will be pivotal in supporting the business to mitigate their risk and to drive the QRM Philosophy across Asia Middle East & Africa.
The QRM AD / Director will be expected to exhibit strong collaboration with all key stakeholders across the region in driving quality and risk management efforts and initiatives with respect to both regional and global VAS best practice guidelines.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To provide support to the Head of QRM, Asia MEA in driving the implementation and application of internal best practise guidelines and key risk mitigation procedures in Asia.
A key focus will be the engagement with team in India, providing support, review and promoting best practice.
Reviewing risk assessments, managing escalation requirements, contract review and engaging with key stakeholders, both in business line and support services.
Review valuation and reports that have been identified as “high risk” and require escalated report review procedures, as directed by the Head of QRM.
Mentor and provide guidance to the business and identify areas where valuers would benefit from additional knowledge and training. Assist the QRM team in the delivery of Learning and Development material to local teams.
Assist in the roll out of new initiatives and expanding into new markets.
Undertake audits and report findings as directed by Head of QRM, ensure follow up actions as a result of audits are implemented and monitored.
The role will have a key focus on assisting the integration of new teams and members with the VAS QRM philosophy.
KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 10 years post qualification experience. Qualified surveyor (RICS or local equivalent) is strongly preferred.
Experienced in carrying out real estate valuations OR with specific Property Risk/Regulatory experience.
Good understanding of real estate valuations and applicable industry valuation standards.
Highly motivated individual who works well both remotely and as part of a team.
Superior organisation skills and ability to work to strict deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrable confidence and maturity in communication and have the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across multiple countries.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
