At Burns & McDonnell India (BMI OGC), you'll be joining the ranks of our Piping Design & Engineering team. You'll report to department & functional managers, and your focus? The engineering design of projects spanning across sectors such as Oil, Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Renewable Fuels, Decarbonization, and Carbon Capture. And these projects aren't limited to a local scale; they are positioned globally, reflecting our worldwide impact.

You'll be a part of our vibrant Oil, Gas, and Chemicals (OGC) Global Practice, a thriving collective of around 500professionals. This dynamic group lives and breathes engineering, procurement, and construction projects across various industries - Refining, Midstream & Logistics, Petrochemical, and Chemicals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analysis and Design of plant unitincluding its Connections like Pipe Rack, Equipment support structure, platform and Pipe supports.

• Piping layouts for different technological units and critical equipment.

• Equipment Vendor Drawing review.

• Create 2D/3D models of designs.

• Analysis and Design of Water retaining Sumps/ Basin.

• Exposure to work on projects located in different locations.

• Exposure various software’s like Smart Plant 3D, AutoCAD Plant 3D, 3D reviews software like Smart Plant Reviewer and Navisworks.

• Exposure to International Codes and Standards.

• Design of Road and Stormwater drainage including site grading.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 60% marks or Equivalent grades in Qualifying Examination of reputed University/Institute in India.

• Must be able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
