Partner Marketing Manager, Global Solution Scale Channel Partners

With a vision to "Build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more," Global Partner Solutions (GPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions–at scale! The Partner GTM, Programs, & Operations team within GPS brings together the Go-to-Market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.

In this role, Partner Marketing Manager, you will engage across a portfolio of leading Global Solution Scale Channel Partners and GPS to define integrated marketing strategies and plans that accelerate new market opportunities for Microsoft and the partners. Specifically, you will work collaboratively with counterparts at the partners to deliver joint value propositions for the partners services and solutions. This includes defining the marketing strategy, campaign development and measurement, solution launch plans, ‘better together’ messaging and marketing content, demand generation initiatives, pipeline acceleration activities as well as joint PR and event marketing.

You will work with sales, engineering, and marketing leaders to develop a joint end-to-end go-to-market motion, aligning with corporate and sales teams worldwide on strategies, resources, and execution. You will develop and maintain joint marketing plans to drive Microsoft Cloud consumption and accelerate Marketplace, Industry, and AI pipeline while creating new scalable collaboration processes with the partner at the global and regional levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing strategy definition and end-to-end execution for joint campaign plans aligned to key Cloud Solution Areas for Microsoft for a portfolio of partners.

  • Lead creation of ‘better together’ messaging and marketing content, offers and incentives, as well as joint PR and event marketing.

  • Understand partner’s business, plans, and objectives in partnership with global Partner Development Manager(s) and ensure alignment of GTM activities and marketing plans to deliver tangible impact against those goals.

  • Ensure measurement KPIs are in place to track impact to sales pipeline. Ensure good budget management practices and high ROI for all marketing funds invested. Influence partners to match the Microsoft investments.

  • Leverage global investments to build a set of scalable go-to-market (GTM) campaigns at the Regional level, including working with the localPartner Marketing Managers to ensure alignment and GTM execution

  • Leverage technical and industry expertise to become a thought leader and trusted advisor to your partner

  • Lead on the creation of new capabilities, GTM maturity, and opportunities through partner experiences to help provide a competitive advantage and to land key co-marketing initiatives with and through the partner.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 3+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years in a customer and/or partner marketing facing role, optimally dealing with a variety of audiences – customers, partners (Channel partners (LSP or Disti), SI, start-ups, MSPs),across business development or sales and marketing

  • 1+ years working directly with partner ecosystem, the ability to provide valuable business and technical guidance to them and to secure their commitment to use business solutions

  • Proficient in Microsoft cloud technologies and the work that partners do to develop, build-upon, and extend cloud solutions

Partner Marketing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
