We are looking for a technical consultant specialist who is passionate about maintaining high quality consistently from pre-sales to delivery, proposing technical solutions to deliver business outcomes for our customers, and leading the development and release of IT products.

Responsibilities

Leading solution proposals to customers

  • Under the lead of Solution Architect role, you have following roles in proposal activities:

  • Understand the outcomes expected by your stakeholders (e.g., enterprise architects, security teams, development teams, operations teams, etc.) and design and propose to customers solutions and architectures that leverage Microsoft cloud services to achieve them. You also recognize risks related to the feasibility of the solution and consider measures to avoid and mitigate them. Design and process the approach to implement the solution.

  • Define the outputs and develop an overall project schedule to ensure they can be delivered to the milestones customers expect.

  • Identify the scope for which Microsoft is responsible and what customers are responsible for and create a resource plan to understand the skills and man-hours required to execute the Microsoft scope.

Realize values for customers

  • After a project starts, you are responsible for creating detailed plan of work based on the overall project execution plan and outputs, in which include a definition of use cases, such as scenarios for data utilization in customer’s business scene.

  • You are responsible for the quality of outputs you create.

  • You consider countermeasures for technical issues and work together with project members to solve them.

  • Work with project managers and solution architects to drive projects forward. Report issues and risks to project managers and solution architects, consider solutions, and implement countermeasures.

  • Work with project managers to maintain good communication with client stakeholders and control stakeholder expectations.

  • In order to realize customer’s outcome, you will work with other departments within Microsoft involved in the project to obtain the necessary support.

Technical Leader in the Microsoft Team Project Delivery

  • Work with project managers and solution architects to drive projects forward. Report issues and risks to project managers and solution architects, consider solutions, and implement countermeasures.

  • Understand new technical solutions, disseminate information to consultants in the consulting department, and support the learning of consultants.

  • Join the international architect community to gather and share information on best practices and international solutions with the Japan team.
