We are looking for an experienced Principal Project Manager with a direct potential for a later Program Director role to become part of our Complex Delivery Team to manage our largest transformation programs. In Germany, the Automotive Practice as part of Microsoft ISD provides consulting services to leading Automotive OEMs and suppliers, supporting their digital transformation and strategic programs. We help customers with initiatives such as autonomous vehicles, AI-based personal assistants, software-defined vehicles or AI-based modernizing application estates.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to orchestrate the overall delivery of high complexity, global programs in a varied environment of technology and partners, connecting cross-functional, global, and virtual project teams.
Steers the customer through complexity keeping the ultimate customer business outcome as the primary goal. Anticipates, understands, and responds to the needs of our customers by acting as the “Voice of the Customer” during delivery.
Demonstrate a high level of political sensitivity in anticipating customer escalations or reactions and partnering across organizations to effectively mitigate, evaluate and resolve customer requests or concerns serving as a liaison with Microsoft Area Account teams and Senior Leadership to ensure effective resolution.
Show proven capability to foster and manage successful relationships with senior executive stakeholders (e.g. Chief Executive-level) managing expectations and achieving successful program outcomes as well as identifying further opportunities to maximize the customers investment or progress towards further desired business outcomes
Hold a solid understanding of business financial practices and a deep understanding of program financials, proactively oversees robust financial governance.
You will participate as part of an integrated team responsible for:
Champion Cloud Consumption by partnering across organizational units to create a One Microsoft experience for our customers, while seeking opportunities in delivery to maximize our customer and Microsoft business goals.
Demonstrate analytical thinking into achieving even greater benefits and share insights, customer experiences and lessons learned into internal and external WW communities and Microsoft Leadership, driving a cycle of continuous improvement, evolving our engagement with customers.
Researches and proactively shares intellectual property (IP) and provides recommendations for improvement including submitting new IP. Holds others accountable for reusing appropriate IP and collective knowledge by enforcing use of processes and artifacts with team members.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Experiences or Certification in the Automotive Industry
Fluent in German and English business language
Bachelor's Degree in related field AND vastexperience in program management
OR equivalent experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Extensive experience in financial management experience.
Agile certification, Scrum Master, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Professional Scrum Master One (PSM1) certification. 25-50% Travel, German residence
