Premera Blue Cross IT Service Manager IV in Mountlake Terrace, Washington

Premera Blue Cross is seeking an IT Service Manager IV for its Mountlake Terrace, Washington office.

Job Duties: Create and sustain the framework for how IT services become valuable, observable and operate well; support the Core Services Capability Product Group (CPG); negotiate service levels and ensure effective measurement, monitoring, and reporting of the service outcomes; drive Live Site culture and practice with a dedicated focus on the customer experience; own management of end-to-end IT service delivery and operations; exercise autonomy to develop a new element of IT; define, own and maintain KPIs for respective services/functions in terms of service availability, delivery, security and restoration; identify critical service offerings and drive improvements; promote, maintain, enhance and institutionalize SIP (Service Improvement Plan); manage and track implementation of SIP activities. Telecommuting permitted.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience Requirements: Seven (7) years of experience of each of the following:

 

  • Inventory Management and Reporting Solutions such as ServiceNow, or PowerBI
  • Managing end-to-end IT services delivery and operations
  • Cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Monitoring Tools and Technologies such as Dynatrace, SCOM or Azure.
  • Azure DevOps

Alternate Requirements: In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of experience, employer will accept nine (9) years of experience in each of the following:

 

  • Inventory Management and Reporting Solutions such as ServiceNow, or PowerBI
  • Managing end-to-end IT services delivery and operations
  • Cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Monitoring Tools and Technologies such as Dynatrace, SCOM or Azure.
  • Azure DevOps

Salary:  $164,944.35 to $180,700.00 per year
