Responsibilities

Job Description:

Has responsibility for both the inside and outside of the facility and associated

properties including all machinery, equipment, and operating systems such as

HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, hydraulics and vehicles. Supervising the

work of other associates and outside technicians/contractors; general management

duties; and ensuring efforts meet operational standards and any applicable laws

and regulations. Duties and responsibilities include opening or closing the facility.

Ensuring all permits and maintenance contracts are maintained in a timely fashion.

overseeing routine building maintenance, repair, including painting, snow removal,

minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, hydraulics and HVAC work, maintenance of

the standpipe and sprinkler system, and the maintaining and repairing of roofs,

floors, locks, and related items Performing daily tasks including troubleshooting

and repairing machinery and operating systems to ensure the smooth running of

the facility Working and maintaining relationships with contracted vendors and

repair technicians to ensure all machines and systems work properly Monitoring

the on-site work of vendors and repair technicians by maintaining an on-site

presence during the work being done until job completion.
