Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program management.
8 years of experience working with software programs and platforms.
Preferred qualifications:

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Android XR Platform team is responsible for building a scalable software platform to grow the Android XR Ecosystem. On the team, you will be working with cutting edge technologies that will power next generation products that shape people’s life in an unimaginable way.
You will be responsible for coordinating fast-changing, moving parts and bringing them together as a product. You will be working closely with software and hardware engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver roadmaps, establish schedules, and manage risks.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Set up overall program structure, define necessary milestones, create detailed schedules, use appropriate tools and processes for program execution.
Engage actively with Tech Leads and engineers on both long-term development work and day to day activities (identify blockers, dependencies, track progress, offer support, etc.). Work in conjunction with Tech Leads and leadership in enabling cross-functional team collaboration, escalations, and removing program roadblocks.
Have complete ownership of the program's schedules and track dependencies and deliverables through its entire life cycle. Develop and use necessary tools and processes to improve team’s productivity.
Work closely with the program leads to drive the interactions with all external partners associated with the program.
Maintain periodic communication to broader team and leadership on the overall health of the program (updates, schedule, risks, mitigation plans and so on).
