Google Product Manager II, Compute Roadmap, Silicon and Offload in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

  • 5 years of experience in consumer electronics, chipsets, graphics, or performance computing.

  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).

  • Experience with consumer hardware development life-cycles.

  • Experience with computing, mobile operating systems, and software application development life-cycles.

  • Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and graphics, with experience with embedded systems and low-power design.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Define product roadmaps by operationalizing strategy.

  • Drive launches, maintenance, and retirement in collaboration with other cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Partner with Engineering and cross-functional partners to define and build Compute Offload solutions, allowing lightweight devices to deliver resource-intesive experiences than possible with local compute.

  • Define the requirements for both the compute host and end point for offloading compute.

  • Work with internal software and hardware architects to align future product requirements with needs of compute roadmap.
