Intuit Principal Technical Program Manager in Mountain View, California

Overview

Come join the Intuit Platform Acceleration Group (PAG) Program Management Office, as a Principal Technical Program Manager, Strategy and Architecture. The PAG PMO’s Mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the Platform Acceleration organization by driving clarity among different dispersed technology initiatives across Intuit and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity. The PMO team supports the Intuit Chief Architect and the Intuit Architecture Team on defining the overall Intuit Tech strategy and executing on large horizontal initiatives and technology priorities across multiple teams across Intuit.

In this role you will lead program management for x-functional Intuit-wide programs (such as Intuit API Strategy, Solution Architecture or others), working closely in concert with the respective lead Architects on defining and rolling out a program plan and executing the overall strategy across Intuit.

What you'll bring

  • Strong Program Management team leadership experience, including 10+ years leading multiple complex software development projects

  • Excellent influencing skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels and build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.

  • Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences

  • Ability to rally teams behind your execution plan, communicate a clear story of challenges and opportunities, and align executive teams on program outcomes

  • Experience driving program outcomes in a Agile/Scrum based environment, balancing the desire of date driven business outcomes and prioritization based development outcomes

How you will lead

  • Kickstart multi-org programs, aligning disparate leaders and programs on single program outcomes

  • Create program structures that empower teams to achieve successful outcomes

  • Manage program reporting and Sr. Leader escalations and communications

  • Define multi-org product and operational standards, dashboards, and processes

  • Drive continuous improvement across multi-org program teams enabling product and operational excellence

  • Drive/ challenge discussions with experts achieving optimal outcomes

  • Influence program outcomes to align with Intuit’s technical & business strategy

  • Bring outside-in learnings to the team

  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders across Product Development, Product Management, Design, Marketing, and Corporate Strategy & Development

  • Develop a close working relationship with the stakeholders to ensure that the team is focused on the highest priority programs, and is helping deliver the most value to our customers

  • Develop common mechanisms for keeping key stakeholders informed on the portfolio progress, risks, and issues
