FPGA Design Verification Simulation Testbench Creation Filing bugs
The main function of a hardware engineer is to research design develop test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial industrial military or scientific use. A typical hardware engineer is responsible for the manufacture and installation of computer or computer-related equipment and components.
Build test and modify product prototypes using working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
Evaluate factors such as reporting formats required cost constraints and need for security restrictions to determine hardware configuration.
Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
bull Analyze information to determine plan layout including type of computers and peripheral equipment modifications.
bull Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs.
The role will consist of:
o Very few meetings at the beginning and a lot of simulations work
o Understanding design spec creating testbench running simulation finding bugs.
o Part of the role would turn to support the platform and system level testing that we are developing while still working on simulations
This role provides the opportunity to: AI based chip verification challenging and cutting-edge technology
o Were going to be using HAPS platform which is very unique. We are also learning to incorporate AI into our development process.
Candidate Requirements
Experience in design verification
Hands-on experience with UVM Testbench Test case coding
Working experience with System Verilog and C languages
AXI and PCIE protocol experience is plus
Good Communication skills and team player
Degrees or certifications required:
Bachelors degree in computer science or electrical engineering or related field
Top 3 Hard Skills Required Years of Experience
Minimum 10 YOE: Design Verification work
Minimum 5 YOE: UVM Testbech development and debugging
Minimum 5 YOE: Test planning Test writing and Scripting
